You first get access to the Ounabara Vocational School in Chapter 4, The Dragon of Yokohama.

Head to Daikokuten St near Jinnai Station, and you’ll trigger a cutscene starting the “Fast Times at Ounabara” substory. Finish the story to unlock Yakuza: Like A Dragon’s tests.

Yakuza Like A Dragon Exams

From then on, you can come back to Ounabara School and sit a number of different exams — if you’ve got the yen for it.

Each test costs between 30,000 and 50,000 yen, with two special tests that cost 100,000. They pull five from a pool of ten possible questions at random, and you’ve got 30 seconds to answer a question.

But it’s worth spending the money. Getting three out of the five questions right means you pass, and passing grants some substantial bonuses to Ichiban’s personal stats.

Higher level jobs require higher ranks for certain stats, as do dialogue options in certain NPC scenarios.

Fortunately, our Yakuza: Like A Dragon exam answers guide means you’ll get the best growth without ever wasting your hard-earned yen.

Note for some of the longer questions, we’ve used just the first and last sentence to improve readability, but the answers remain the same.
